Babysitter Training

This in-person course prepares youth ages 11–16 to safely and confidently care for children and infants. It includes hands-on activities, videos, and discussions to develop essential real-life readiness and babysitting skills. The course covers feeding, diapering, picking up and holding children, safety, and emergency response.Upon completion, students receive an American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training Certificate, valid for 10 years. The course typically lasts between 4.5 and 5.5 hours, depending on class size.

Please note: This class does not include CPR/AED training for children and infants. However, if parents would like children to receive this training, it can be offered as an add-on for an additional fee.
